This site is operated by Matt Blake, mortgage broker (licence MB600487), with BRX Mortgage Inc., a licensed British Columbia mortgage brokerage (brokerage licence X301291). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's anti-spam legislation.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free BC Equity Report, we collect your name, phone number, email, city, age range, whether you own your home outright or have a mortgage, approximate home value, and what the money is for (optional), plus your consent choice.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you clicked. If we use analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or the Meta Pixel, they may use cookies or similar technology. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Why we collect it
- To send you a free BC Equity Report and any follow up you asked for
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request, with your consent
- To answer your questions and, if you choose, prepare options for your situation
- To understand which pages and ads are useful, and improve them
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed mortgage brokerage
Consent, and how to withdraw it
By submitting a form and checking the consent box, you agree to be contacted by BRX Mortgage Inc. by phone, text and email about your request. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing matt@mattblakemortgages.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect information we must keep by law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run this site and contact you, such as website hosting, customer relationship management, email and text messaging, and analytics. They may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
- With lenders, lawyers or other professionals, only if you choose to apply or ask us to, and with your consent.
- Where required or permitted by law, including to regulators.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law or our regulators require. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through this website's forms.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email matt@mattblakemortgages.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line.

If you become a client, the privacy policy of BRX Mortgage Inc. also applies to your mortgage file.
